Zoos are constantly evolving to provide better habitats for animals and unique experiences for visitors. One of the most groundbreaking innovations in the zoo world is Philadelphia Zoo 360 , a concept that completely changes the traditional zoo experience. But what makes this system so special?

What is Philadelphia Zoo 360?
Philadelphia Zoo 360 is a network of elevated walkways and tunnels designed specifically to allow animals to move freely outside of their standard enclosures. This system provides an immersive experience for both animals and visitors.
How Does It Work?
Elevated walkways and tunnels have been constructed throughout the zoo, allowing animals to explore different habitats without being confined to a traditional enclosure. Several animals use these innovative routes, such as Big Cat Crossing (pictured) , where tigers and lions walk above visitors’ heads, or Treetop Trail , where monkeys and other primates are free to roam. By expanding their habitat, animals are able to exhibit natural behaviors such as exploring, hunting and socializing, which reduces stress and increases their well-being.
As a visitor, you never know where an animal might pop up! You might see a leopard walk over your head or a group of meerkats run through a system of tubes.
Why is this so revolutionary?
Philadelphia Zoo 360 goes beyond traditional zoos by creating an environment that better reflects the natural needs of animals, not only making for a more ethical way of keeping animals, but also a more interactive and exciting visit.
