Our learning goals

The Animal Uni's mission is to create a world where all animals have the opportunity to thrive. We strive to build a bridge between humans and animals through education and awareness.

We strive to inform people about the general knowledge, needs, rights and value of animals. Through courses we want to convey knowledge that leads to better understanding and respect for all species. In addition, we want to raise society's awareness of the challenges animals face worldwide, such as abuse, neglect and habitat loss.

Biodiversity and ecosystems

Participants in the course offering will understand the value of conserving biodiversity and protecting ecosystems for future generations. For each course, specific information will be shared about threats, such as habitat destruction, hunting, climate change, and possible solutions to these problems focused on the subject of the course.

Awareness

Participants will learn about the current status of various animal species worldwide, including endangered, vulnerable and extinct species. They will understand what factors have contributed to the decline of these species, such as habitat destruction, overfishing, climate change and illegal trade.

Anatomy and behavior

Participants will learn how to identify specific physical characteristics of different animal species, such as colors, patterns, anatomical structures and other morphological features that distinguish them from other species. In addition, they will gain insight into the various behaviors that occur in different animal species, such as migration patterns, feeding habits, communication methods, reproductive behavior and social structures. But also learn about their specific habitat, nutritional sources, predation pressure and social interactions.

Ethics in animal welfare

Participants will develop a deeper understanding of the needs of wildlife in their natural environments and learn how to respect and support these needs. This includes avoiding disturbance to wildlife and promoting practices that protect and conserve their habitat.

Knowledge of various animal species

Participants will gain knowledge about a wide range of wildlife species, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish, spread across different ecosystems and geographical locations. They will learn how to identify these species based on their physical characteristics, behavior and habitat.

As our offering of e-learning and offline courses expands, a participant will be able to sign up for various programs.
